I'm new here...HI!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum. I am soooo happy to have found this on-line support system.

I have 15 days today since my last drink. I have a sponsor and have been attending AA meetings. I am doing well so far. I am just feeling so good not waking up with hangovers everyday. What a blessing!

Hi TheStylist I am also new to this site and would like to congratulate you on your 15 days sober. I've been sober for over 3 yrs and with the grace of god I haven't been tempted to drink again. But I know never get to confident and always be aware. When I was first sober I threw myself into my job which was lucky for me because it was outside work in a garden center and that was the best thing I could ever have done. You can do it and best of luck on the next 24hrs.

Welcome to SR, bunch of great folks here, congrats on 15 days, and you are IMO off to a good start, having a sponsor is a huge help, some one to guide you down the path makes things easier. A good network helps also, sometimes you may need to talk to somone and your sponsor may be busy.

This is my first day here, so maybe we can learn the ropes here together.

f2f meetings are important to me. I have made many friends in the program. Do not let them kid you about 90 in 90. You can go to as many as you want. :>)

good job on 15 days sober! It's a rough ride in the beginning. Keep coming here, I know that reading some of the things people post is helping me during times I cannot be at meetings. Welcome!
