hello, I'm "Blue" and I'm an alcoholic
I haven't been here for a few months -- tho the "shortcut" to SR is always right on my desktop, just waitin' for me ... 
Just wanted to say "Hi, I'm here!"
and hopefully get back into reading and posting on a more regular basis.
ok, ok -- it might just be to get me thru the holidaze ... whatever works right?

There's lots of ESH to read and for u to
share with us.
Take ur shoes off and sit a spell and
share with us what it was like before,
during and now with alcohol.

of alcohol since 8-11-90. For that and
u im truely grateful.

How are things going in your life these days?
Hmmm ... I immediately started to reply with:
Intense ... the brother I turned into the authorities is due to enter his plea in court later this week ... it's been delayed and post-poned numerous times since Feb + the judge has GOT to be getting sick of it ... my entire FOO (aka Family of Origin) has "dis-owned" me ... I've been in a loop of depression/anxiety ever since ... my sober A-BF threw a temper tantrum a couple weeks ago and broke his hand so he can't help out around the apartment and it's pissin' me off to no end ... let's see ... oh yes ... i'm sick of being over-weight and it's part of the reason that i hurt my back picking up my 6yo g-daughter ... and on ... and on ... and on ... and on ... ad nauseum
WHOA!!! STOP THAT TAPE!!! *screeeeeeeeeeeech*
NEW Tape ...
Things are weird + sometimes hectic but that just means i'm alive ... right?
I have an extremely caring and sober A-BF who is now in counseling for his anger-management issues cuz the broken hand scared him as much as it angered me ...
I continue to be in counseling and in contact with my psych. doc cuz on top of it all I'm bipolar ... both are helping me grow and heal.
I have my most awesome son, dil and *5* g-daughters in my life ... having those girls is like having a fan club ... they see me coming up the walk and immediately begin to squeal my name ... I can hear the chorus thru the closed door! What more could i ask for!?
I have joined the gym that's 4 blocks from my apt ... no excuses to not being able to get there this winter! and I am LOVING it!! It's going to help my weight go down and my mood stay UP (which is a MAJOR issue for me this time o' year)
I'm working HARD on MY attitude in other words! and it feels darned good that I can fairly immediately catch that negative tape when it starts to play and replace it with a more reality based one!
So ... How are things in my life??
one word ... AWESOME!!
