Keith Urban

I read in the paper today that Keith Urban has checked himself into rehab. My prayers go ou t to him. He is being supported by his wife, Nicole Kidman, and his family. No one is immune from this disease. Best wishes to Keith.

Wow, I didnt hear that. Its crazy, it really doesnt discriminate. He really seems like a good guy, too. I hope the best for his family.

doesn't discriminate. good for him for showing hte strength to acknowledge his problem and go to rehab! fortunately or unfortunately it's people like Keith Urban who help to make seeking recovery not only accetable - but even cool!!!

In my 1st AA home group in Washington D.C.

we had homeless members and famous members.
We all sat together and shared.

As alcoholism is an equalizer
so is AA recovery...

Frankie!

yer a hoot.

You know - I had no ide who this guy was until the meeting today. Then - driving home - I was listening to this song, what a kewl tune even tho country .... and guess who it was ???

(I have a majick radio - it changes channels on its own when you hit a bump.)

I dont generally listen to country, but this song hit exactly how I've been feeling about the relationship I lost when I lost my job and everything else two months ago. "You'll miss me"
or something like that.

"You'll Think Of Me" (I went and looked it up)

I'd buy that CD.
It described everything that well.

So -
if he's in recovery - think of the tunes this dude will write!
yay!
He and Mel Gibson could make a film... LOL

If he wants to stay married to Nicole, he will have to stay clean. She has a clause written into their pre-nup concerning relapse and drugs. I don't know the details surrounding it, but I suspect that if he pulls this too many times, they're through. To me, it's a bad sign this is happening so soon, maybe he wants out and is using to get out of the marriage. Makes no sense, man...I'm echoing Fraankie's sentiments here, LOL!
