A "WE" program From "Gutter Bravado:" "Meetings gave me what my sponsor likes to call one of the most important words in the Big Book: A.A. put a 'we' in my life....I no longer had to be alone. Fellowship and activity kept me coming back long enough to work the Twelve Steps. The more I did, the better I felt. I started hanging out with my sponsor and some active people at the meetings. They showed me how gratitude is something that is demonstrated, not talked about -- gratitude is action." c. 2001, Alcoholics Anonymous, page 510 |

Oh! Hope how I so agree with you ! I had isolated so much during my drinking, and my family ( son and DIL) have given me the flick, I can so remember the lonliness I felt, with only my booze. I LOVE the fellowship I gain from AA, as you said , I now have a "we" in my life too HUGX Lee |
