on Aug 6th 1988 I picked up a white chip.I didi my last drinking in late July and after 4 days of miserable drinking I was beat.I was convinced I would drink again and die.I just didn`t want to drink.I made my way back to that old sponsor and home group and followed directions and today, life is fantastic for me.I never could have imagined life would be this good.I give thanks to AA, and the AA people wherever I find them.
Thanks Yall! Keep coming back

Congratulations and Happy Sobriety Birthday Tommyh…!!!!
My story is similar to yours as I am about to join
you in celebrating another sober yr. on August 11th.
A good month to begin turning ourselves sick with
addiction around to a sobering one filled with so
many of lifes amazing graces.
Our journeys in life doesn't end here as we forge
forward passing on our own ESH - experiences,
strengths and hopes with others still suffering
with addiction.
Peace and strength passed on to you.
