The world keeps spinning
 

I have been pulled in so many directions the last two weeks I feel like Stretch Armstrong. Primarily at work but also at home and in the program. It's caused some old anxiety symptoms to flare up. But this morning, I remembered what my sponsor told me. And I happened to just suggest to a sponsee the other day.

DONT TAKE YOURSELF SO SERIOUSLY!!!

No matter what I get done, or don't get done, the world WILL keep on spinning.

Good news - I got a big pay raise.

Bad news - My state funded health insurance was cancelled do to my new income bracket.

Good news - I can now afford a Health Care Act plan.

Bad news - It's going to take a few weeks to get it implemented.

Good news - Most of my meds are available at a discount at Walmart.

Bad news - They will still cost me a half a weeks pay per month.

Good news - I got the hours I wanted where I work.

Bad news - I got an eye infection that is causing me Quality Control issues at work.

Good news - I found an eye Doctor that is giving me a substantial discount on his treatment along with hundreds of dollars worth of free med samples.

Good news...

Bad news...

"the world WILL keep on spinning".

That's always good to remember. :-)

I'm right there with you. This last month has been pure chaos for me ... but I think the majority of it has been created in my head (even though some bad things really did happen). Just one thing after another. I really wish things would just get back to normal for once. But this is the part where my program is really put to the test. I need to stay connected to the program even during those bad times!
