Yup, yup, yup.....I'm going. I've registered (+ confirmed), and got my hotel reservations....all I need now is the transportation---the airline won't take a reservation this early; gotta wait till the end of December......
I went toe the one in San Antonio in 2010; it was great.....!

Oh, wow - my home town! I haven't been to a meeting in years, but AA is firmly a part of my recovery.
I will keep this in mind and am hoping to register. Funny thing, it's being held at the motel I once met up with a friend of mine from SR when her husband had a business trip.
Thanks for the heads up!
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

I don't know to what convention you're referring, but I believe this AA International Convention is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center and the big meetings will be in the Georgia Dome.
For those interested, here's a link to AA's official announcement...........:
Alcoholics Anonymous : 2015 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous
See y'all there..............

P.S. ...a motel might be a tad bit small for the 50,000+ expected attendees.....eh?

Whoops, sorry, I must have misunderstood; it really is time for new glasses. Perhaps someone here who is going will take it upon him/herself to contact all us'n who are going (pm or e-mail or whatever), and create some kind of plan....for meeting or meals or something.........eh?
