Adage of the Day for 7/7/13
Isn't it ironic that many of us entering the halls of AA for the first time have difficulty with "That God Thing."
Yet for many years before our arrival we have blindly worshipped "SPIRITS" without question.

This reminds me of a talk by a fellow member Sandy B. who said we used to have one solution for our problems...booze.
Why was it so hard to accept one solution for our problems, God?
I think it comes down to that it is so very difficult for us to give up our self-absorbance.
