It was suggested early in my recovery to create a God box, and write down all my desires and wants and put them in the box. Leave the box on the shelf for 5 years. When I took it down and looked inside, many of those hopes had come true. The ones that didn't I realized I didn't want anymore. Amazing how God was taking care of all this. Who better to know what I needed than Him?
Sure makes living a lot easier when you finally figure this out!
