traditions and concepts

Are they important to your personal recovery? Or is that just something for groups to worry about?

Tradition Five---"SHOEMAKER, stick to thy last!"... better do one thing supremely well than many badly. That is the central theme of this Tradition. Around it our Society gathers in unity. The very life of our Fellowship requires the preservation of this principle.

I put the steps and traditions to work in my life and things seem to run more smoothly. I'm not yet working too closely with the concepts. Still much room for growth.

I consider the traditions as 12 more principles that are particularly good when applied to any group I'm in, whether that's relationship with one other person or family or whatever.

The concepts.....only one really, if I'm honest. Participation is the key to Harmony. I use that one alot.

Some of the others are awfully dry as bug dust to me.
