Hmmm... I'm not sure. It was simply listed. I looked at it as "This is what the steps are about". Which rings true for me.

When I share with people doing Steps 2 and 3 and they are looking for faith, I share that faith didn't come for me until after working Step 9 (at the promises) - it was only when I could remove what was blocking me from God that I could find God, know God and have faith in God.
