We're having my family here for my son's 11th birthday. Right now I am wishing I had never even planned the party. Not so much that my family is driving me insane...which for a change that's NOT the case but because, I have a case of poison oak and I itch all over :-( Okay not all over...just my arms, belly and face. :-( However my younger of my 2 brothers I could strangle...but then again what else is new there. Said he was gonna come, now he's not sure. I'd be willing to bet at this point $1,000 that he will NOT show. I often find myself wondering when I will stop wasting my breath on him and not bother to invite him anymore. :-( Next weekend I am having the kid party portion of it...or at least i THINK I am. lol

Ya know what? This party is for your son. It is all about him and the rest is just the noise from the past. Make it the best day possible for him and let the rest of them be who they are. They are going to anyway...
