Step Work
Hello,
I am relatively new to ACA having only attended 4 meetings with my 5th coming up this Saturday. I am interested in finding a sponsor and starting to work through the steps, but there is only one female member of my group willing to sponsor and she already has many sponsees. Does anyone know of a way to sponsor through a forum like this or find a sponsor I can work with via telephone? I would prefer someone face to face but am exploring all options. Also, is there a group on here that does step work or anyone interested in starting a step group? I obviously am starting step 1 and would like to explore with others going through the same process.

I just got back into Al-Anon myself (went to alateen as a kid for a while). I don't have a sponsor yet... I am waiting to find someone too. I am very eager to start the steps. I would also feel more comfortable face to face, but am interested in a step-group.
Even though you and I are on Step 1, I am sure there are others around that would like to revisit steps, or are willing to help us (and others) process the steps we are working on.
