Not Sure Where To Go Or What To Do
I am angry. I am not sure where to go or what to do on this website and also in my own life. Obviously I came to this site for a reason...I've never been a part of a group before, but I am tired of feeling alone. I'm tired of making myself sick with worry. I am just plain angry and I feel trapped and unsafe in my own home. What's more, I have a three year old daughter who is everything to me and I have to get her away from this spiraling hell hole of a home. On top of being angry, I'm hurt and I'm constantly anxious (so much so that I have been put on medication) and I have no idea where to go or who to turn to. If you have any tips or can point me in the right direction, I would be so grateful.

It took me a long time to realize that it was ok to be angry about what happened to me.
Depending on your situation, perhaps whoever put you on medication could refer you to a group such as AlAnon. Near where I live, there's a church (Grace Baptist) that has a number of programs for people like us.
