Thotful, it's taken me a long, long time to realize that I only have room in my life for the people who bring joy and light into my life. dbh, thank you. I don't feel like I lost anything by talking to her. It just affirmed that she is not truly sober and I'm still sticking to my guns about protecting myself and my family. No regrets. I consider that huge growth in my program, since a few years ago I would have been a hot mess, had I decided to break NC. I'm trucking along with life as usual: my life lived on MY terms.
