The kids are doing well, 2 in college and the youngest started her sophomore year in HS. STBX is living about 15m away, they go have dinner with her a couple times per week.

I've definitely been the rock through all of this, which has been good for them. I don't think they are old enough to appreciate it, but I guess we don't become parents for the accolades. Lol.

I just noticed the time difference between your first post and the last. Fair play to you!!

I think that's the first time I've seen a slice of recovery (say that 1 year gap between post 1 and now) in such a short space of time i.e. reading from the start to now.

Yeah, fair play. Had boundary, boundary breached, difficulties identified. Solution found. Happy(ish??) ending, or beginning.

Yeah, spent almost all of my energy working on dealing with the infidelity issue. I focused all my 12 step work with my ACA group meeting. Decided it was time to reset my password on these boards and update my thread.

Not sure if call my story a happy ending. But it is a hopeful new beginning.
