i think this is a core belief i have. my gut instinct is that to hold this belief is likely to impact on my dating

does anyone have any experience with mental health and know how i can change or alter this perception [she did have a number of mental health problems breakdowns etc]

My mother, the main alcoholic in my life has married several men with mental issues. All I could do as an adult was to keep my distance.

I can admit that her bad choices did rub off on me....I too had a bad picker. I am glad that I am finally over that phase of my life.

Don't really have any advice, mental illiness is not something that I really do not understand.
