i just noticed this listed as a codependent charactaristic in codependent no more.
when i was a boy my mother had mental troubles [she still does but has been stable for over ten years now] and had to be put in hospital twice when i was growing up. im not sure exactly when this happened. i could find out if it would help....
so im wondering if that maybe why i tend to feel pain when i see a attractive/pretty woman.
makes sense or not
