My story
 

Saddness should be the title i guess. I was the oldest child of an alcoholic father. He destryed the lives of six children. Amazing as it is we all turned out rather well considering. Then like a bolt of lightening out of the sky I now have two alcoholic children . Or one drug addict and one alcohoic. I have recovered well myself from my childhood trauma. Even though it took lots of years. But watching my children loose themselves in this foggy dillema breaks my heart.
I understand that the answer lies in them, and not in me. But that doesn't lessen the pain i feel. My heart breaks when i see her sleeping off another drunk. Not even caring that life is passing her by. She has lost a great job because of it . But like always it's never her and and the drinking . it's always someone else's fault.
I suppose i just need a friend who understands the anger i have for this terrible disease.
