ACA is killing me right now
some other issues i had are pointing back to aca business so i must go there yet i have some ideas of my fathers about 'not going back and dredging up the past'.

It may not be emotionally safe for you to be doing ACA work on your own without the guidance of a sponsor or f2f group. Perhaps you could explore these issues within an Alanon group if you don't have an ACA group near your home. There are reasons why we bury our past and it's not always wise to go back there alone. Please make sure you are working through these questions in a safe place.
