Mothers Day
Its Mothers day here in the Country I live in.
I loved my Mother and My Mother Loved me ,thats for sure.
I dont Blame her for the Addictions I have had to Conquer,
she never had the time or chance to break the Disfunctions
of generations that were passed on to me.
A Monk told my Mother when I was a Child that I was Special.
I never understood what this ment until now.
My Mother was a gentle Loving Creature that was Overpowered
by Addiction to Tranqualisers.
She Covered up all the Frustrations of life,bills,children getting into trouble,
Dads Drinking and Lax attitude to Money,ie spending it on Booze.
I have not been the Saint I would have wanted to be but im getting there,I have done things im not proud off,especially breaking your heart with my Drinking and several Re Hab visits.
Been my Mother I know you never held anything against me,and I will be easy on you..................But I wont Tolerate the Disease that passed from you and Dad to me.
I have nothing against you or dad, only the Disease of Alcohol/Tranqualiser addiction.
It has been handed down from generation to generation..........and Im Stopping It Right HERE..............Painful as it may be.
My HP has given me the Strength to stand up to it so far and I know he/She/It will continue to do day by day.
So on this Mothers Day,I love you Mam ,for bringing me into this world,and as you can see im doing whats needed to be done.Shalom.

Clean And sober...Still
Cant believe its 7 years sense i posted last on this site...started here 10 years ago...im still clean and sober...34 years now...still attending AA and ACA...if anyone reads this please contact me on my email...micealcorcoran******.com... would love to hear from you ....micealc...cheers
