Worry
Worry
Worry is as useless as a handle on a snowball. - Mitzi Chandler
When we hug our heavy satchel of worries as we pace the floor, fearing the worst, we waste energy and countless hours in imagined horrors. Usually what we are fretting over doesn't even happen.
Coming from dysfunctional homes is enough to make us expect the worse, because for us the worst often did happen. Our challenge, as adults, is to react in a positive way.
I am learning the difference between useless worry and healthy concern.
