My New Tee Shirt
I found this tee shirt graphic online at one of those sites that sell "funny" tee shirts.
I wonder if I wear it around an old timer in AA (my mom), she'd take a hint. If she does, I might by one for every day of the week, maybe in different colors.
In order not to have to argue with her, I have learned to say things like, "You could be right." So, could I take it a step farther when she starts insisting she is right about everything, and say, "Mom, that's quacktastic!"?
Does AA understand what quacking is? Is it just an alanon thing?
Something tells me that even if we wore a tee shirt that said, "YOU'RE AN ALCOHOLIC AND YOU ANNOY ME", they still wouldn't get the hint.

Y'know, I really don't think they would get it. I can see my parents asking me who I know who's an alcoholic! Oh wouldn't that be a glorious conversation to have. not.

I was thinking about getting my mom that shirt. She likes shirts with cutesy sayings on them, and would be completely clueless as to what it meant.

Ya know Ginger, with HER wearing it, you could see it better, LOL, and every time you look at it, well, you'd be reminded.
In fact, my whole perception on just WHO should wear the shirt has turned around. I am buying my mom one and she is gonna wear it if I have to tell her it's woven with goldnen thread.
How about a little role reversal. She wears the quactastic tee, and I for once in my whole freaking life get to wear the one below.
