That was wonderfully put Mike. As soon as I have time, I'm going to go surfing around reading more about it. I am a 'rescuer' (I labelled myself a "terrible adopter of strays" as it applies to both animals and people). Now I guess it's time to do some soul searching on what I get out of rescuing people (animals make more sense, they're usually always happy with being rescued).

So as soon as my dog is recovered from surgery (and I find out whether he's got cancer or not) and my parrot isn't 3 days shy of dead anymore and all the fires at work are put out...it's been a stressful last couple of weeks. But I digress.

I've got a few hours of alone time tonight. Instead of pickling my brain on whatever's on those 150 channels of nothing-worth-watching, I think I'll do some reflecting.
