So many of the 12-step programs talk about the "Committee in my Head" that it must be common to many of us!
Mine runs on and on.... my step work IS helping. My sponsor had me join a workshop group of women from multiple recovery programs... we have AA, NA, Alanon, OA... I think we have a Debtor's Anonymous, too. But so much of STUFF runs across all programs.... pretty amazing.
And I thought I was so special. (grin)
(((Beautiful))) I hope you can get some help from your appointment today. And perhaps you can check around and see if anyone has a step study going in your area. I was especially pleased to find a "women only" group. I hope you can find some releif.
