Welcome, Heidi.

The worst of your withdrawal symptoms should subside within a week or so but, if you are at all concerned about how you are feeling, a consult with your doctor may be wise.

Some withdrawal symptoms may hang around for a while - lethargy, brain fog, malaise, etc. It seems to vary from person to person. Patience rules as does believing that a better way to live awaits you as it truly does.

For now, be gentle with yourself; recognize that your body is going through a major change; eat small, healthful meals; stay hydrated with water; get some fresh air even if just for a minute or two; take a short walk if possible; get plenty of rest; treat yourself to a nice, relaxing bath.

This is a time to take good, loving care of Heidi.
