Preparation and practice makes things become second nature so that we do them without noticing or consciously thinking...like breathing...or Michael Jordan shooting a free throw with his eyes closed in an NBA game back in 1991 (In the dying moments of the game, MJ stepped up to the free-throw line. He turned to the big rookie, said, “Hey, Mutombo, this one’s for you,” then closed his eyes and entered his shooting motion. Unsurprisingly, he hit nothing but net.)
