Welcome Tammyjean. I'm sorry to hear of your situation - it is apparently not uncommon for those who have gastric bypass surgery to start drinking alcoholically. Not sure why but there are many theories. We all have reasons though, and the important thing to do is stop. The first week or two are the hardest, then it gets easier - but support is essential so I am glad you are here. There are many resources here to help you.
