The absolute hardest part about withdrawal for me is the vomiting. I vomit for days - even after there's nothing left to bring up.

This makes taking pills hard. I generally get prescription anti-nausea tablets from the doctor and Immodium from the pharmacy to reduce this as much as possible.

I've managed to withdraw 3 times but so far have always gone back. IMO it takes more like 2 weeks to be able to get back to life, and another few weeks again to feel more normal. Your mileage may vary

Try again. My opinion is that the only real failure is to give up trying. Try, try again. You'll get there.

Also, as hard as drinking fluids is, try to stay hydrated. Dehydration is a real risk for at home detox.

If it gets too much go to the ER.
