Sorry to jump in with a whine, but my gosh......woke up an hour ago to the toilet upstairs running....I couldn't fix it.....came downstairs to a freezing house as the furnace has stopped again. And a leaking kitchen ceiling. I have a migraine.
I changed the batteries in the thermostat again and low and behold, 15 minutes later, after I had gotten convection heaters out, the furnace started again. Holy moly.
There is a chance Nick can fix the toilet (he is not home till tonight), but the ceiling needs to be fixed...so I will need to tell my landlady anyway.
Thank God I only have to re-edit my editing assignment before I turn it in: I doubt I am going to be able to do much with my head exploding.
What would Ann say: I think she would be having a word to someone on my behalf, because enough is enough. Or perhaps she would say that sometimes, the difference between a bad week and a good week is about a week?
