That's what I have been doing but I don't have much data left and I'm trying very hard to conserve $$ as I don't have any income right now.

And yes, most phones can have new batteries installed once you start getting charging issues. Most smartphone batteries last about 2 years. Or, the charging port can fail and that can be replaced too. I try and make my phones last as long as possible because of the ethics involved in sourcing the materials, manufacture etc. If a company came up with a fair trade, slavery free, environmentally friendly phone, I think they would be top of the market. Such a phone would be very expensive though I think.

On the bus with a full battery!
