I posted under the Forum "Alcoholism" but wanted to drop a post here too for the people who like me are "newbies" to this whole soberiety thing.
It has been a month for me sober now and after many words of encouragement from folks up here I finally gathered up enough courage to go to my very first ever AA meeting.
All I can say is that I am

I finally went and did it... MY FIRST AA meeting
So, THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me along. I hope this encourages someone else to conquer your fears and go to your first AA meeting too.
