What a great reminder, and a wonderful avenue to walk down. I did this quitting smoking on October 31, 1987 at 5:23 pm. Done!
Did I count the days? 15 years later I dreamt I broke down and smoked! But it was a DREAM.
My desire all those years ago was to be free of my addiction to nicotine. I believed it possible. I envied all the people around me who were non smokers. I wanted that too. And I have it.
i knew if I picked up a cigarette, it was over.
Now, I’m applying that knowledge to my addiction to alcohol... MY addiction.
