Sounds like you know what works David, I'd agree that going back to that is likely a good idea. Also remember that being powerless over alcohol does not mean that you are weak or that you do not still have free will and the power to make choices in your life. It's still up to you to make the decision to pick up or not - but having a support network around you very much helps. Don't forget that you can come here too - someone is usually here on SR almost 24/7.
