I told my partner that it's uke day (he's a very passionate player for decades already) which resulted in a private concert for me all evening, yay!
STDragon, have you ever tried leather picks? I got my partner some for Christmas pretty randomly as a little stocking filler but he now prefers them to all other types.

I've never tried a leather pick (Nor had I heard of that before). I have felt picks, butterfly and finger picks. I don't generally use a pick, tho my instructor said we will learning a new song soon that will require a pick due to the plucking speed. I'll keep my eyes out for a leather one, thanks!
