Well as the title says today marks 3 weeks of sobriety and more grateful I could not be. The most recent improvement of many I have noticed is I am able to sleep easily now which is the most wonderful thing as my whole life i've either passed out from alcohol or from cannabis use. When I awoke this morning it was a joy to get down on my knees and say the serenity and 3rd step prayers
I went for a walk and on the way back I noticed a broken bottle with glass all over the pavement. I thought maybe dogs could get glass in their paws so I went home got a brush and shovel and cleaned it up. When I was drinking I wouldn't even have noticed such a thing let alone done anything about it. Sobriety truly is a blessing.
