6 years and 10 months today
I hope everyone is doing well, not easy for a lot of people nowadays but luckily I have been able to hold on to both my job and my sobriety. I was worried at first that I will take this opportunity to start drinking and use the excuse that everyone is hurting right now during these virus times and we all need a drink. Well, I'm not hurting so I can't use that excuse. It took me a full five minutes to play my tape of what will happen if I start drinking again. I will go back to marital problems, legal problems, health problems and ultimately anxiety and financial waste like always. Why on earth would I even consider that? So, the AV went away pretty quick and I'm steadily marching towards my seven year anniversary. Thanks for reading.
