I have always managed to be a functioning addict and I guess i have done that well because no one close to me suspects. It makes it that much easier to dial a number and go pick up. The only people who have known are the ones I have used for resources to my addiction. It is very lonely fighting this battle everyday and I am reaching out to maybe be able to talk to people on a similar page. I know it isnt recommended but I had gotten sober on my own and right now especially with the pandemic and isolation it is a hard time for me. Just curious if anyone can relate or If anyone has any positive reassurances for me. Thanks in advance.

I feel the same way to. Getting exercise at this time with no gym and not being able to go outside makes things hard. I have a little area like 4ft by 4 ft to workout. I'm doing my best as well. I reach out to family by calling and texting to see how everyone doing. It's always a great time to pick up a stress relief hobby or something new. I will start to brush up on some skills that will help me have more opportunities in the job field when things get back to normal. Stay positive and keep it going my friend.
