Thanks Astro.....having others to share their experiences,
strengths and hopes on this matter helps me stay strong
and confident to keep working to find the best solutions
to solve this painful problem.
I am doing research on my own to see what causes
nerve damage, IF that is really the underlying pain im
experiencing under my teeth.
I first wondered if I might have eaten too much spicy
foods like jalapeno peppers or spicy chips and fried
the nerves in my gums....lol but then I dont eat it that
often, maybe once or twice a week.
Maybe I have a deficiency of some sort at my age. Dont
The strange thing is that the dentist didnt see any thing
in the root canals of my teeth that would indicate infection
or anything disturbing. So the teeth are fine. The roots are
Anyway.... looking to see what I can do at home to help
with this pain from hot and cold sensitivity. They say to
gargle with fluoride which I have not done in a long time.
Then garlic helps....hmmm....I use to love taking garlic
pods and bake them in the oven till soft.....that tastes
good in foods or alone. Extra flavor and....
Maybe ward off any vampires lurking near or
in my gums....lol
For the time being, I will take the antibiotic for a
week just incase there is any infections lingering
and not showing up in the xrays. If the pain continues
we will go back to the root canal specialists and
let him evaluate my teeth again and look closer
at the nerves....
Before this all gets the best of my last nerve....lol
