I'm now trying to find the best doctor for my op on my hand. Lending my ear out has caused me distress. People have different opinions about the local dr who does only hands and feet . Some very happy , a friends husband had both hands done at the same time - very happy,but then my pharmacist friend rolled her eyes when I mentioned his name , etc, etc.
I don't want to travel far for this , not for the initial appointment, the op or the follow up. Think I'll go see this dr and decide for myself. The problem is that many of our friends around here are doctors - and if you ask them about it (off the record) they still cannot be completely honest and forthcoming regarding their colleagues - so I don't know ....

PS > Made the appointment . He is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hands and feet - so ... done , will see him 16 March.
