Recovery support sent your way Mary.

When life throws you a curve ball and you want
to run to that old stand by, liquid courage that is
poison, quickly grab your lifelines here or other
recovery support for answers.

If you or anyone who has had a little bit of sober
time takes a drink of alcohol, it will return you
right back to where you were when you stopped
6 weeks ago.

Do you remember where you were 6 weeks ago?
What was going on? How you were feeling? What
made you put the drink down 6 weeks ago?

Do you want to return to that point again?

Those are just a few questions to keep asking
yourself to avoid returning to that merry go round
of insanity you wanted off 6 weeks ago.

You never have to go back there again or reset
you sobriety date if you continue to learn how
to remain sober each day. To avoid daily life struggles
and face them with healthier helpful tools instead
of alcohol to numb them.

If there is something you are facing in life that you
dont know how to solve, turn to your support system
emmediately and ask what or how to work thru it.

Suggestions from many who have been there or done
the same similar thing as you will help you figure it out
and not run to alcohol that wont solve it but will only
numb and set you back to the beginning where, NO one
wants to go back to. Right?

Stay strong and sober and use all your recovery tools
more so than ever in your first yr of sobriety. Look to
those who are achieving each day sober. There could
be something there you can use in your life too.

Now is the point where folks may say....okay, I have a
month sober, not a drop of alcohol. Now what? What
more do you want from me? Im not drinking, isn't that
enough?

No it is not.

Now you have to learn how to live life on a daily
bases, facing everyday lifes problems without the
crutch of alcohol.

It's time to keep learning.
