Thanks for the new thread Dee.

Pouncer, some count days, weeks, months, others prefer not to. For me, attaining new milestones was important during the first year, as I was seeing genuine progress in my recovery. It was also nice to get the many congratulations that I got when mentioning it! (never underestimate the power of positivity!) Nowadays sobriety is a way of life for me, though I acknowledge as each soberversary passes, and am proud of my toughest achievement to date.
What matters for you though, as you say is your attitude, and making sober progress. Confpgratulations on your continuing recovery!!
