I am so very happy for you and your daughter...change isn’t easy, but it’s better than feeling trapped in a life you can’t be happy in.
I can’t remember...is your daughter in any kind of therapy? It would be something to consider, as it would give her someone to help process her justifiable anger and hurt at your ex and his family. That’s a lot for a child to deal with.
