My son tried that many times as a teen; even now at 27 years old, occasionally he tries to upset the apple cart by digging up things from the past (i.e., choices
he made and not liking the consequences that followed) and playing the blame game - we were "such bad parents!"
So great to hear how you and your husband are keeping boundaries in place.
