you are whittling down the the ways you have followed which have not “worked” for you, so it seems like a spot where you might use a different path from the one you have walked?
in my own story, it was kinda always possible to come up with a plausible-sounding reason, cause, excuse why i had drunk again, but the bottom truth was that i really had no idea why i would do this insane action again.
