congrats on saying no and on day 13.
As far as I could, I actually avoided any situation where there might be alcohol for a while.
It wasn't running away from life or anything - now I can go anywhere and do anything...but I had to work up to that....
I was simply shoring up the odds that I'd make it as a permanently sober person
