Toots, sorry your dad isn’t doing well. From what I experienced and what I have seen with friends, it’s a challenging time in our lives when our parents become old and frail and we take on more responsibility for them. It can last a long time and seem neverending while it’s happening. Eventually it is over and the result can range from relief to life-changing attitudes.
