Pushing yourself physically is totally my go to move.
I have been working toward Olympic style weight lifting in order to develop total body conditioning. It really works. I feel like a different person the next day.
Clean and press is all I can do right now. Light weight. Max right now is only 85 pounds for 7 to 11 reps (depending on how much I cheer with my legs).
I am avoiding heavy weight for a max, e.g. 135 for 1. I am no spring chicken.
It is exhausting and challenges my balance for sure.
My stamina is still sketchy, but compared to me years ago...i am 10x better.
