Vinny, I’ve always gained the impression that your French is near excellent.
And now I am going to blow my own horn unashamedly, but I am conversant in Afrikaans (my home language), English and German, with an almost decent understanding and slightly worse expressive command of French. Living in a country with 11 official languages of which at least two are widely spoken in work setup helps a bit, of course. Still I bet that pales in comparison with what any number of people on this site may be capable of.
