Good evening weekenders,
Forgive me for hopping right in without reading here too much first, but wanted to share my weekend.
It was a very busy weekend for me yesterday I worked my butt off along with my teenage daughter straightening out my house and cooking for about 25 guests. We had sloppy Joe’s and a baked potato bar.
I told all of my guests to bring their own booze. Most of them do not know that I no longer drink alcohol .
It was weird but I was not nervous about it… About them drinking in my house.... however I did anticipate may be wanting some and what would I do with that thought when it came to me .
My new go to drink is non-alcoholic ginger beer, with real chopped ginger and squeeze lemon juice and lime rinds in the drink.
The high temperature was only in the mid 60s Fahrenheit and the sun was shining it was a perfect day to have the oven on.
Today I was rather slow and lazy and it felt great!
